Program

We will have here, a general description of the activities that will be organized during the games.

Opening Ceremony

The first big event of the Games will be the Opening Ceremony. It will be the first opportunity for the participants to meet in one place at once and enjoy the evening program.

Youth Village

The Youth Village, is the meeting place for participants, in the free time. There will be a stage, where anybody can demonstrate their cultural skills. All the evening program, will be organized on this stage.

Evening of the Nations

In one of the evenings, there will be a cultural program, made by the participants themselves, who will prepare something (song, dance, game), specific to their country. This way, all the participants will get to know the identity of each country, will learn something interesting from other cultures and even be part of their dances and games.

Youth Forum

The main topic of discussions in the Youth Forum, will be the encyclical letter „Laudato si” of Pope Francis, concerning our care for Earth, our common home.

Holy Mass

The Holy Mass will be celebrated during the games, in our St Joseph Cathedral from Bucharest.

Visit of the Parliament’s Palace

Each day, some teams will visit the Parliament’s Palace, depending on the sporting schedule. All the participants will be scheduled for this visit. Also, during the free time, the participants may visit other places from Bucharest(if they go with their coaches or other adults from their delegation), as they will benefit from free public transport in the city.

Bazaar

During the Games, we will organize also the Bazaar, the event where each country will sell products(souvenir, sweets, T-shirts, caps) specific to their country. All the amounts raised from this action, will be donated to a charitable association.

Closing Ceremony & Party

The Games will end with the Closing Ceremony, where the Fair play Trophy will be handed and after this, we’ll have the Farewell Party for all the participants. Also, we will hand over the flag for the next edition of the Games, to our partner DJK from Germany, who will invite you to participate in 2020 in Duisburg, where they will celebrate their 100 years of existence.
